This street portrait photoshoot was created in Barcelona for Vivien, a textile designer based in New York. The session followed a classic city route, combining historic locations with a more modern, urban atmosphere.
We started in the Gothic Quarter, photographing around Barcelona Cathedral and walking through narrow streets towards Pont del Bisbe. The early part of the shoot focused on the texture and rhythm of the old city, using stone facades and shadows as a backdrop.
From there, we moved to Via Laietana, where the street was temporarily closed, allowing us to photograph directly in the middle of the road. The strong light and open space created a very different mood, adding contrast to the session.
The shoot finished near Casa Batllo and along Passeig de Gracia, where we created a few final portraits, including images on the iconic Gaudi-designed benches. Together, these locations shaped a varied street-style portrait session that reflects both the city and Vivien’s personal style.
